data protection
Privacy
We appreciate your interest in our online shop. Protecting your privacy is extremely important to us. Below, we provide detailed information on how we handle your data.
Access Data and Hosting
You can visit our website without sharing any personal information. Each time a webpage is accessed, the web server automatically stores what is known as a server log file. This log file includes, for example, the name of the requested file, your IP address, date and time of the access, the data volume transferred, and the requesting provider (access data), documenting the retrieval.
This access data is used solely to ensure the smooth operation of the website and to improve our offerings. This is in line with our legitimate interest in a proper representation of our services according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f of the GDPR. All access data is deleted no later than seven days after your visit to the site.
Hosting Services Provided by a Third Party
To host and display the website on our behalf, we partner with a third-party service provider. This serves our legitimate interest in a correct presentation of our offering as per Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f of the GDPR. All data collected through this website or via forms in our online shop is processed on the provider’s servers. Data is processed on other servers only in the scope outlined here. This service provider is located in a country outside the European Union that has been recognized by the European Commission as offering an adequate level of data protection. Specifically, this applies to: WIX.com AG, based in Tel Aviv, and 1&1 Internet, based in Montabaur.
Data Collection and Use for Contract Processing
We collect personal data when you share it with us as part of your order or when contacting us (e.g., via a contact form or email). Required fields are marked as such since we need the information to process your order or respond to your inquiry. Without this data, we cannot complete the order or respond to your inquiry. The specific data collected can be seen on the respective input forms. We use this data in line with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b of the GDPR to process your contract and respond to your requests. Once the contract has been fully processed, your data is restricted from further use and deleted upon expiration of any tax or commercial retention periods, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or if we reserve the right to use your data in a legally permitted manner.
Data Disclosure
For the purpose of fulfilling the contract as per Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b of the GDPR, we share your data with the delivery service responsible for shipping your ordered goods as necessary. Depending on the payment service provider you select during the order process, we forward the payment data collected for this purpose to the bank handling the payment and, if applicable, any payment service providers commissioned by us or the selected payment service. Sometimes, these payment service providers collect the data themselves if you create an account with them. In this case, you will need to log in to the payment provider with your access data during the order process. The privacy policy of the respective payment service provider applies in this case, such as PayPal, VISA, Amazon Pay, and similar providers.
